Tickets Still Available for Detroit
Local Business Community
Comes Together in Support of Event
-- Attention wine lovers,
tickets are still available for the fourth annual Detroit Uncorked,
of the region's largest wine events. Detroit Uncorked, benefiting
Children's Center, is held at Ford Field, Sept. 28 from 6:30 p.m.
p.m., and is presented by Ford Motor Company and Ford Field and
and organized by Detroit Wine Organization (DWO). The event brings
together thousands of wine lovers to enjoy hundreds of wines from
the world. The evening will also consist of hors d'oeuvres,
entertainment, a silent auction and more.
Event organizers are
again pleased by the response the event has
received from the business community. Not only are they grateful
valuable financial support during these difficult economic times,
event organizers also credit local businesses with helping to promote
both the event and the importance of The Children's Center.

Detroit Uncorked benefit The Children's Center,
one of the largest, most diverse child-serving agencies in Michigan.

raised $267,000 since the event's inception four years ago.

The DWO is a non-profit
organization with nearly 4,400 members. The
organization hosts wine tasting and instructional activities throughout
the year aimed at promoting the educated, responsible consumption
