'Sister's Easter Catechism' is great, but last class was a little funnier
DETROIT -- Another seasonal treat is Sister's Easter Catechism: Will My Bunny Go To Heaven? Sister arrives from the rear door and walks down the aisle to the stage. She says there is going to be a quiz in the second half.
She talked about Lent and the significance of Lent leading up to Easter. The rules of Lent were not to eat meat on Friday and give up something you enjoy. Lot of people gave up things they don't like and that is wrong.
She discussed the Story of Easter. There were lots of movies made about Easter, for example, The Passion of the Christ by Mel Gibson. "Now there is a gift that keeps on giving," Sister says.
There was a 15-minute unsupervised break between sets. The second half included a question-and -answer period. Then came the test. She asked three questions and whoever answered each question correctly became the three contestants on stage. The contestants came up to the stage and were blindfolded. Sister held up a picture of a prominent Catholic person and they had to guess who that might be. The next game they played was Let's make a Deal. Then it was The Price is Right.
Get ready to participate in class and receive special rewards when you answer correctly. Celebrate Spring and Easter with this hilarious version of the Late Nite Catechism series.
