I purchased some Frontline Plus flea medicine for my cats from this online pet store. When it arrived it had an expiration date on it, according to Frontline’s website their products have no expiration date, even the photo of the cat is different. The medicine I received was made in South Africa by Merial. Upon calling Frontline the customer service rep told me he was unaware that this may be a knock off product, and in checking it is not effective for fleas in the USA.

The fake Frontline Plus flea medicine is being sold by Totalpetsupply.com.

Frontline's website includes the following statement: "Frontline Brand Products do not carry an expiration date. We recommend storing Frontline Brand Products at room temperature and keeping them sealed in their original packaging. If stored under these conditions, Frontline Brand Products will not expire."

Here are some discussions about the product:

Upon calling customer service for Total Pet Supply, I was told Iwould get a RMA number to return the medicine for a full refund. A week later, I received an email stating there would be no refund. I informed them that this was a knock off product in case they didn’t know they were selling fakes to no avail.

So Pet Owners beware DO NOT buy Frontline Plus if it has the tiger striped kitten on the package, ONLY buy the grey cat from a legit firm. If you have any questions about what you are using, check with your vet.
