Chrysler Introduces the PT Cruiser Converible

The new PT Cruise Convertible is a cool car for a hot summer day. It is now on display at the 2004 Detroit Auto Show at Cobo Center.

The car was first introduced at the New York Auto Show. It has the same length and width as the original PT Cruiser. It has an amazing 41 inches of legroom.

Chrysler wanted to reduce the wind resistance and they did it with the new PT Convertible. It has a power top that is 3-ply. The wind easily goes over the top to make it nice and quiet inside. There is a single handle to release the top which only takes a mere 11 seconds.

The windows of the PT Cruiser have increased glass thickness by 25%. It has a sport bar dividing the from and back seats to provide support for the top.

There are three different types of wheels that you can get with the PT Cruiser convertible. The least-expensive class has aluminum wheels. The middle-class has chrome wheels and the top-of-the-line has empire steel wheels.

I always liked the original classic PT Cruiser. It is like no other vehicle on the road. When Chrysler introduced the convertible, I knew they were looking for a sportscar and they got just what they wanted.
