2005 Detroit Auto Show: New Car Reviews Chrysler
300 Takes 2005 Car of the Year
The Chrysler 300
Steve Jajewski from Security told me that the Chrysler 300 "is the best touring sedan on the road. It was voted Car of the Year for 2005." Each year, Journalists from all over the world vote on the Car of the Year. The one with the most votes takes home the trophy and recognition. It's the first time that two American automakers won Car and Truck of the Year since 1996. Ford won the Truck of the Year with the Ford Escape Hybrid. It features a new wheel drive and an oversized front grills among som of the most distinctive features. It has a V8 HEMI motor which is lighter than the old HEMI. It's estimated price is in the mid 30's. The 300 dates back to 1955. The chassis is from a Dodge Viper. It has been such a hot seller that dealers are able to clear the lot which no incentives. People are willing to pay full stick price to own one, something that's unheard of these days. Take a good look at the Chrysler 300, it's well worth it.
