unveils the Sky concept car
The Saturn Sky Concept Car
Saturn has unveiled it's new Sky concept car at the 2005 North American International Auto Show at Cobo Center in Detroit, MI. Saturn is a brand of General Motors. They are the most affordable brand that GM offers. They are targeted towards kids in college and high school who are looking for their first cars. They are searching for an identity. Saturn has been struggling lately. They only had about five cars to offer. People need more options to have loyalty to the brand. Saturn has unveiled the Sky. They are going to double the number of cars in their lineup. The Sky is a concept car convertible. It was designed to compete with the Ford Mustang and Chrysler Crossfire. It comes with a five speed manual transmission. The engine is a Ecotec 4-cylinder with low-boost supercharger. It is a 2.2 liter with a maximum horsepower of 180 and 190 lb-ft torque. The Sky is a new addition to the Saturn lineup that will influence their future cars.
