Saab Bio Power on Display at 2006 NAIAS

A look at the all-new Saab Bio Power at the NAIAS.

The Saab Bio Power is made by General Motors. It features a 20% increase in power output from 260 horsepower to 310 horsepower. It produces less emissions and adds CO2 to the atmosphere.

It runs on ethanol. What is ethanol? It is a chemical substance that's made from wood, sugar cane and it is produced in the agricultural environment today.

It can hold 2.3 liters of ethanol and has a 16 valve engine. It has a five speed manual transmission. It includes heated front and rear seats and a hands-free telephone package. The Bio Power comes with auto dimming as well as inner and outer mirrors too.

The Saab Bio Power also features heated front and rear seats. It includes rain activated wipers meaning that when it rains, the windshield wipers automatically come on without you turning them on. There is an anti-theft system with an alarm that has a glass sensor.

The interior in this vehicle is really designed well. The seats are nice and soft. I really like this vehicle. It is the perfect car for me. I really think that GMC has dramatically improved their cars over the past years.

On a scale from 1 to 10 with ten being the best, I rate the Saab Bio Power as a "8.5."
