The Jeep Renegade comes with a pair of 200 kW electric motors -- one at each eaxle -- powered by a lithium-ion battery pack.

The Renegade will run 40 miles on a full charge but it can be extended to 400 miles with a 1.5-liter three-cylinder Bluetec diesel engine.
