BMW Z4 Roadster Makes its World Debut at the 2009 NAIAS

DETROIT -- The new BMW Z4 is making its world debut at the 2009 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

This vehicle is a stylish Roadster built in Germany and will be coming out in May 2009. Jessica Mola, Product Specialist, says the two-piece hardtop open and closes within 20 seconds. Driving with the roof down or with the hardtop closed, it is a driving experience of a sporty coupe.

There are two different engines. The 35i has 300 horsepower and the 30i has 255 horsepower. It goes 0-60 in 5.1 seconds.

This is a gas only car with a warranty of four years or 50,000 miles.

The BMW Z4 is an up-to-date and elegant vehicle that will give you driving pleasure along with fuel efficiency. It has outstanding acceleration and response.

There is no price yet, however Mola says it will run in the mid $40,000 range.
