2011 NAIAS: North American Car and Truck of the Year Awards

These are the automobiles that are in the running to win a North American Car and Truck of the Year (NACTOY) Award. Each year, voting is conducted by credentialed journalists just before the auto show. The finalists will be announced at an Automotive Press Association luncheon at the Detroit Athletic Club on Dec. 16, 2010. The winners of the Car and Truck of the Year Awards will be announced on Monday, January 10th during day one of Press Week.

AmericaJR.com's Jason Rzucidlo reports outside the Detroit Athletic Club where the 2011 North American Car and Truck of the Year finalists were announced. Three cars and three trucks were narrowed down from a list of 14. Fifty automotive journalists from the United States and Canada vote on the awards. The winners will be announced on Monday, Jan. 10 at 8 a.m. during the first press day at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
