DETROIT
-- Have you ever dreamed about having your
vehicle designs featured at an international auto
show? Beginning January 10, 2011, the 34 designers
below will be living that dream when their original
work is unveiled in the Michelin Challenge Design
exhibit at the 2011 North American International Auto
Show (NAIAS).
Top
automotive designers serving on the Michelin Challenge
Design Jury selected the work based on the theme ‘PLUS
10’ The Best is Yet to Come! The designs were
evaluated for uniqueness, emotional appeal, design
courage and technical execution.
The
following designers’ vehicle concepts will displayed
at NAIAS in the Michelin Challenge Design exhibit
from January 10-23, 2011.

Michelin
Challenge Design -- CCS Competition (December 2010)
Michelin
and the College for Creative Studies (CCS) recently
held their 22nd Annual College for Creative Studies
Design Competition at the A. Alfred Taubman Center
for Design Education. Four CCS transportation students
are receiving the exhibition opportunity of a lifetime
when their winning designs are displayed in a special
Michelin exhibit at the 2011 North American International
Auto Show (NAIAS) Jan. 10-23, 2011.
Thirty-one
CCS students entered this year's challenge, each submitting
a pickup truck vehicle concept and a tire/wheel assembly
under the theme ‘Plus 10: The Best is Yet to
Come.’ For the past 10 years, the CCS competition
theme has mirrored Michelin’s global competition,
Michelin Challenge Design (www.michelinchallengedesign.com).
The
winning CCS students' work will join 34 other designs
representing 22 different countries selected in the
global Michelin Challenge Design competition at the
prestigious auto show.
