AmericaJR.com has been
covering the NAIAS since 2002 and has seen the auto industry at
it's high points and it's low points. Currently, the big three American
automakers are facing stiff competition from its foreign competitors.
The Chinese automakers are knocking on the door -- one of them will
display their automobiles at the 2011 show. It will be a very important
year for all the automakers.
This is also the first
year that production versions of electric vehicles will be at the
auto show. The Chevrolet Volt, which is currently shipping to dealers,
will be at the NAIAS. In addition, the Tesla Roadster will be on
the show floor as well.
AmericaJR.com was the
first website in the world to debut the preliminary list of concept
vehicles for the 2010 show. Our exclusive list was first published
on November 14, 2010. We were also the first website in the world
to publish our list of production models for the 2010 NAIAS. That
list was first published on October 24, 2010.
