Demand Brings Back Tigers Rally Towels

DETROIT --
Chant heard 'round town this week: "Let's go Tigers towels!"
"Let's go Tigers towels!"
The Detroit Tigers and Major League Baseball heard the chant for
rally towels loud and clear and went to bat for fans, bringing them
back for the World Series games this weekend at Comerica Park.
The towels that rallied
Detroit through the first two rounds of the postseason will be back
in full swing at Comerica Park on Saturday, October 21 (Game 1)
and Sunday, October 22 (Game 2) of the 2006 World Series.
All fans attending Game
1 on Saturday night will receive a white Tigers/World Series towel
compliments of XM Satellite Radio. On Sunday night, all fans attending
Game 2 will receive a white Tigers/World Series towel compliments
of DHL.
"We are pleased
that we were able to work with Major League Baseball and respond
to our fans' enthusiastic demand for rally towels," said Duane
McLean, senior vice president of Business Operations for the Detroit
Tigers. "The rally towels were a huge hit through the early
rounds of the postseason. We know these towels will help Tigers
fans show their support and enthusiasm throughout the World Series!"
In addition, all fans
at Game 1 on Saturday will receive a coupon good for a free Delphi
XM RoadyXT satellite radio along with a World Series commemorative
pin -- compliments of XM Satellite Radio. On Sunday, all fans at
Game 2 will receive a "DHL presents MLB Hometown Heroes"
DVD -- compliments of DHL.

Detroit Tigers are ready to roar into the World Series. Games one
and two will be played at Comerica Park. If necessary, games six
and seven will also be here.
