CHICAGO -- Though there's been a very amount of the white stuff outside as well as the still possibility of red in the declining economy, the state of Michigan is still going green with USAgain ("use again"). This eco-friendly enterprise prides itself on the three P's: people, planet, and profit. Founded in 1999, USAgain is based in Chicago, and today it operates over 8,500 collection bins in 15 states that includes New York, California, Washington, and Georgia.

One hundred percent of all clothing collected by USAgain gets diverted from landfills to be either reused or recycled. Organizations that host bins on their property receive a percentage of the revenue generated by selling the collected clothes, and can use it to fuel their businesses or non-profit organizations. USAgain currently has 175 employees, and is expanding in Benton Harbor, Coloma, Hartford, Lawrence, and several other areas in Michigan.

"The aim of the company is to keep clothes out of the waste cycle, and give people an easy way to reuse and recycle their unwanted clothing," states Rasham Grewal, USAgain’s marketing and communications director. "It’s all about green – but it’s also about convenience."

USAgain is a green for-profit enterprise that collects used clothes and resells them worldwide to conserve precious natural resources and greenhouse gases. We provide thousands of convenient locations across the U.S. where you can drop off your gently used clothes and shoes any time of the day, any day of the year. For the clothes you no longer use, we provide an easy, eco-friendly way to remove them from your closet! What's more, the clothes are given a second life at affordable prices for people who can't afford brand new clothes. It's a win-win-win proposition.
