People were waiting in line to get their hands on the new iPad 2.

WDIV-TV Local 4 was there to interview some of the shoppers.

Apple began selling the all-new iPad 2 at 5 p.m. on March 11.

Apple Genuises passed out free coffee and hot chocolate for those waiting in line.

The 16 GB base model starts at $499 (with Wi-Fi) and it goes up to $829 for the 64 GB model (with Wi-Fi + 3G).
