Detroit Science Center is located within the city's Cultural
Center. It features Michigan’s only IMAX® Dome Theatre.

main entrance to the Detroit Science Center is on John R. Street
just north of Warren Avenue.

The
Detroit Historical Museum is located at 5401 Woodward Avenue in
the city's museum district. It chronicles the history of the Detroit
area from cobblestone streets, 19th century stores, the auto assembly
line, toy trains, fur trading from the 1700s, and much more. Today,
the Museum receives more than 250,000 visitors annually, including
more than 50,000 school children.

The
College for Creative Studies is one of the nation's leading arts
education institutions. It is located within Detroit's cultural
center. CCS features Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in 11 studio
majors.

The
Detroit Institute of Arts is home of one of the largest art collections
in the United States. There are over 60,000 works of fine art
including Diego Rivera's Detroit Industry.

The
New DIA Ticket Office is open Wednesdays thru Sunday from 10:30
a.m. until 4:30 p.m. It is also open one hour prior to Detroit
Film Theatre events.
