Atlanta-based
outlaw Southern country-rock band Blackberry Smoke formed in 2000.
They performed at 7:00 p.m.

Their loud-and-proud, slide guitar-infused new single “Good
One Comin’ On” from their second full album Little
Piece Of Dixie (2009) will hit radio in June, and the group
has shot a video for it which combines live footage with slice-of-road-life
scenes.

The
Outlaws were born to the blue-collar port city of Tampa, Florida
in the early 1970s. They performed at around 8:30 p.m.

The band was originally made up of Hughie Thomasson, Henry
Paul, Monte Yoho, Frank O’Keefe and Billy Jones.

Outlaws’ debut album, Green Grass and High Tides,
peaked at number 13 on Billboard’s Hot 100.

With substantial success in the live concert arena and
on the strength of repeated chart-topping records, The Outlaws
established themselves as premiere players in the phenomenon
that came to be known as Southern Rock.
