Day Awards Ceremony at Wayne State University
Graduate
of the Year, Journalist of the Year and Alumni of the Year awards
and scholarship winners were presented at a special ceremony inside
the WSU St. Andrews Hall.

Burns is the director of Journalism at Wayne State University. He
spoke in honor of former WSU professor Richard Wright, who passed
away this winter. Wright was honored with the Career Achievement
Award posthumously.
