first Sonic Drive-In restaurant is now open in Southgate.

The restaurant is located in the parking lot of a Meijer store.

Customers
can order by pressing the button at the bottom of the menu board
and speaking to the restaurant employee. They will ask your name
then deliver your food to you.

It
looks like you can eat inside but that's not an option. You have
three dining options -- eat in your car, take your food to go or
eat outside the restaurant and they will bring it to you.

This Sonic Drive-In has been busy ever since it opened on May 21,
2008.
