BROOKLYN,
Mich. -- Race fans have hit the jackpot with
Michigan International Speedway's latest corporate partnership.
The groundbreaking partnership announced today by speedway
and Detroit's Greektown Casino officials is a sure winner.
As "Official
Casino of Michigan International Speedway," race
fans can let it ride - to the casino, that is. Greektown
Casino will provide campers staying in Michigan International
Speedway campgrounds courtesy rides to the casino during
race weekends.
Beginning with
the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Citizens Bank 400 weekend on June
15-17, the Greektown "Let it Ride" buses will
depart on Thursday with one bus in the afternoon and one
in the evening. On Friday of NASCAR and Saturday of the
IndyCar Series weekends, buses will depart MIS following
the conclusion of the day's on-track activities. These
opportunities are giving fans the chance to make the most
of their race weekend experience.
"Getting
our partners like Greektown Casino involved with our guests
to enhance their race experience is another positive factor
in our ongoing commitment to the race fan," track
president Roger Curtis said. "We're very pleased
to have them on board as our official casino. Anytime
you travel to the downtown Detroit area, Greektown Casino

rides to Greektown Casino on all race weekends. Greektown

Greektown Casino,
a mainstay in downtown Detroit since 2000, will enter
its second year of partnership with MIS in 2007. This
is also the second year the casino has offered free bus
trips to and from MIS on race weekends with many campers
taking advantage of the unique promotion last season.
"It took
some time to build momentum with the bus trips, but once
our campers realized that they could make a trip to Greektown
Casino free of charge, it really became a popular promotion
for our fans," Curtis said. "MIS fans are always
looking for an opportunity to make their stay that much
better and this is a perfect way to do it. It adds another
lasting memory to their MIS experience."
