'Dance Camp 2012' to take place at EMU on Feb. 4

YPSILANTI, Mich. -- A one day dance clinic and tutorial will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the Eastern Michigan University Convocation Center headed by dance instructor Jenna Williams.

Geared to individuals and school dance teams from grades K-8 the full day of activities will conclude with an on the court presentation with the EMU Spirit Team.

Dancers will be instructed on technical skills, routine retention and step proficiency. Nutrition, stretching and core-strength as life skills will be introduced. A camp tee-shirt will be provided, along with snacks and hydration.

Two tickets (one for the dancer) will be part of the registration package for the EMU women’s basketball game. Performers should wear black slacks or black dance pants, black jazz shoes or black tennis shoes. There is a $20 fee and check-in starts at 9:30 a.m.
