The
NCAA Hoop City offered fans the chance to interact and
experience the sport of basketball
Though
may be feeling blue outside due to the return of winter,
it was still easy being green, as Michigan State fans
spend their weekend cheering the Spartans on in the Final
Four -- starting with the Hoop City inside Cobo Center.
The four-day event gave everyone to make free throws,
lay-ups, three-pointers, and so forth in an effort to
win prizes. Some of the highlights of Hoop City included
the Media Celebrity Game between radio and television

Now, the 2009 Men's Final Four basketball championship
game will be played in Detroit this April. A whole week-long

practice at Ford Field free of charge to the public. Practices
begin at 12 pm.

Following the open practice, two teams of players selected by
coaches from around the country will play in an all-star game
that is FREE to the public.

in both athletics and academics.
