MI. – NASCAR
Busch Series driver Auggie Vidovich was at Dick Scott Dodge in Plymouth
to meet his fans and sign autographs. He will race in Saturday's
Carfax 250 at Michigan International Speedway in the #4 GEICO Dodge.
Auggie
Vidovich was born on February 20, 1981. He currently lives in Mooresville,
North Carolina but was raised in Lakeside, California. Ladies, he
is currently single. Vidovich's father, a general contractor from
Southern California, taught him that 'hard work pays off.'
In
2003, Vidovich won the NASCAR Elite Division-Featherlite Southwest
Series Championship. He became the most-popular driver in that series.
The very next year, Auggie led the most laps in the series and finished
2nd in points standings. In 2005, Vidovich took home the checkered
flag in the NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown.
This
year, Auggie was one of the most-watched rookie drivers. On May
13th, he won his first pole at Shasta Speedway in California. Then,
he filled in for Mark Martin in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series
race in Mansfield, OH the very next week.

for Auggie Vidovich in Saturday's NASCAR Busch Series Carfax 250
at Michigan International Speedway. His team owners are Fred Biagi
