Three
IndyCar Champions to Appear in MIS Legends Club
Five
IRL IndyCar Series drivers, including three former series
champions and the defending Firestone Indy 400 winner, will
appear in Michigan International Speedway’s all-inclusive
Legends Club prior to the Firestone Indy 400 on Sunday,
July 30.

Patrick to Speak at MIS Girl Scout Day Event
Girl
Scout members and their families will get an opportunity
to see IRL IndyCar® Series sensation Danica Patrick,
and earn $5 out of every adult ticket sold for their local
Girl Scout Council by purchasing tickets for Girl Scout
Day.

IndyCar® Series Drivers Buddy Rice, Vitor Meira, Jeff
Simmons, Kosuke Matsuura to Participate in Ethanol Pump Tour,
Selling Gas for $2.20 per Gallon; Public Welcome to Attend
Members
of the public are welcome and encouraged to bring their vehicles
to the Ethanol Pump Tour as it stops at the Marathon gas station
in Ypsilanti on Thursday, July 27. E-10 unleaded fuel, a 10
percent ethanol blend, will be available for $2.20 per gallon.
Any vehicle built since 1980 can run on E-10.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.The
Marathon station is located at 244 Joe Hall Drive, Ypsilanti,
MI 48197. The station can be accessed by taking Exit 183 off
of I-94 and heading south for approximately one half-mile.
The
IRL IndyCar Series is a strong supporter of ethanol fuel with
the series racing with E-10 in 2006. The IRL IndyCar Series
will race with 100 percent ethanol in its fuel tanks during
the 2007 seasons. |
