Remember that day, because it marks the day that once again Shaq was traded. A man who for the last 14 years has been a NBA legend, is now in Phoenix. My question is why? The Suns and their high powered finesse offense added he fattest, slowest man in the NBA today. Some how Shaq passed a physical today and officially became a member of the Phoneix Suns.

The Suns went from a dying team to a team built on Finesse and run and gun style of play. Today they added a man who will help be able to defend Tim Duncan, Andrew Bynum, Paul Gaul. Kevin Durant and Greg Oden when he becomes healthy. Except for the $20 million salary Shaq has and the fact they dumped off Shawn Marion who is an awesome three point shooter this trade makes sense. If Shaq signed as a free agent, it'd be awesome. But the main problem is they gave up so much for so little.

As stated on Detroit Sports radio on Thursday, this trade has a number of problems. But hopefully it will work out for the Suns and give them the dominate presence to go with Amare Stoudamere they have needed for years. Only time will tell, but it is now official Shaquille O'Neal is a Phoenix Sun. Sadly a legend has been traded twice in his career and now playing for his fourth team overall third in five years. But the Kobe and Shaq playoff feud should be awesome to see.
