1. Jim McKay, of ABC Sports, in 1968. McKay eventually won 13 Emmy Awards.

2. Concert violinist. The injury was to her wrist. While she waited for it to heal, Dietrich switched her studies to acting.

3. Golf, at the second summer Olympics in Paris in 1900. The winner, Margaret Abbott of Chicago, shot a 47 in the nine-hole competition and was awarded a silver bowl.

4. Tu, as in Tu Morrow. The younger's full name is Tu Simone Ayer Morrow.

5. Muhammad Ali.
