Mr. Jason A. Rzucidlo
Owner and Web Designer

Jason A. Rzucidlo founded AmericaJR Online, which later became AmericaJR.com back in 2000. He has a passion for news. With over seven years experience in news reporting and journalism, he is the perfect person to lead Detroit's #1 Website. Mr. Rzucidlo attends the North American International Auto Show, Detroit's Downtown Hoedown and interviews the drivers at Michigan International Speedway annually. He enjoys listening to country music. Rzucidlo is currently pursuing a major in Journalism and a minor in Broadcasting at Wayne State University. He also serves as News Editor for this web site. Rzucidlo has recently completed an internship in the news department at Fox 2 (WJBK-TV) in Detroit. His article on the new North Terminal at Detroit Metro Airport was used as a source in a USA Today article. Rzucidlo is a certified member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

Gloria Rzucidlo
Managing Editor
Gloria Rzucidlo is currently working part-time in the retail business for the past 19 years. She attended Henry Ford Community College in Dearborn, MI. She enjoys watching movies and going to different restaurants. She also enjoys taking pictures for AmericaJR.com, "Detroit's #1 Website." Her hobbies include traveling and reading entertainment news. She enjoys watching the Detroit Red Wings on TV and has attended several of their homes games during her lifetime. She also writes reviews of restaurants and movies occasionally.

Sheila Franklin
Entertainment Editor
Sheila Franklin is a Videographer/Editor whose credits include documentaries about human rights. She also writes freelance for various sites and publications; her articles include movie, television, art, and live events reviews. She also writes on the subjects of travel and online gaming. When she isn’t working or playing on the net, Franklin reads, hunts down little-known authentic restaurants, and spends time teaching her cat, Amazing Grace, new stupid pet tricks.

Andrew Poloni

Andrew Poloni is a journalism student at Wayne State University. Andrew transferred to WSU to study journalism after attending the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor for two years. He has a passion for news, sports and music. He would like to begin a career as a copy editor after he obtains his degree in journalism from WSU.

Mike Wrathell

Mike Wrathell is an exhibited modern artist and a published short story writer who dabbles in photography. Still, he is confident that some of his photos are beautiful and worthy of meeting your retina. Mike is a graduate of The University of Michigan in General Studies and Cooley Law School. He is the subject of an award-winning documentary by Sheila Franklin entitled "The King of Pluto." He and his art will be in an upcoming indy movie called "W, or, Strange Things Begin To Happen When A Meteor Crashes In The Arizona Desert."

Michele K. has a background in advertising, public relations and television broadcasting. She is involved in many clubs and community volunteering. She is club President/Newsletter Editor for Huron Valley Bottle & Insulator club, (hvbic.org) and hosts a Digital Video group in the Detroit area. Avid Mac user and evangelist. Her iPhone is her favorite tech item.

Jennifer Vuong
Reporter and Photographer
Jennifer Vuong is a recent graduate from Wayne State University. She majored in journalism and is pursuing to be a news reporter. She plans to travel to many different countries in the near future. Vuong likes to discover new movies, bake and decorate cakes, and meet new people.

Cymone Allwood
Reporter and Photographer
Cymone Allwood is a student at Wayne State University studying journalism. She has been a part of the Web Team since November 2007 and she has helped cover the North American International Auto Show, Cirque du Soleil and the Detroit Winter Blast. In addition to broadcast and print media in the future, she also hopes to work in the film industry as an actress. In her spare time she enjoys shopping, movies, and watching sports.

Jessica Guastello

Jessica Guastello graduated from Wayne State University in May 2008 with a major in Media Arts and Studies and a minor in Journalism. Jessica has interned at both FOX 2 News and Local 4 News and worked closely with some of the top reporters in Detroit. Jessica loves the world of entertainment news and would like to pursue a career in news and entertainment reporting. When Jessica isn't busy in school, she loves to watch movies, spend time with her family, and keep with the various shows of primetime television.

Garrett Godwin

Garrett Godwin is a 2007 graduate from the University of Michigan-Dearborn with a B.A. degree in Communications. He has written for their newspaper, The Michigan Journal and is still a disc jockey for its radio station, WUMD. Garrett is also the host of his show, Go Now, which can be heard online at the Student Operated Press (SOP). Besides writing, he also enjoys watching movies, television, and spending time with God.

Dana Bonner
News and Entertainment Reporter
Dana Bonner is a senior at Wayne State University where he's minoring in Oral Speech and Communication and majoring in Media Arts and Studies. From 1993 to 1996 he was a TV journalist, camera operator, switcher operator, CG operator for a low rated cable community access program called Burger Talks on McLean Hunter Cable TV now Comcast. Dana's big break came over the summer of 2007 when he interview three people for the Detroit Electronic Music Festival sponsored By PAXAHAU. He likes to bowl a lot. Once Dana graduates, he hopes to work in the public TV or radio field where he will launch his proposal to start an Arab American TV studio in Dearborn, MI.


James Jermanus

James Jermanus is a retired businessman who has distributed food products for 30 years. He is a family man with a wife, two daughters and one grandson. Jermanus is a volunteer leader for AARP Tax Aide. He heads up a group of nine tax counselors who prepare income tax returns on a FREE basis within the scope of their training. They serve over 1,100 clients annually. He is an active church worker -- teacher, lector, minister, leader and follower. Jermanus holds a college degree in Business Management. His hobbies include golfing, writing (1 book published) and selling items on Ebay.

Mike Ismair

Mike Ismair is a nursing student at Madonna University. He's always wanted to go into the health care field since he was a junior in high school. While in high school, Mike Ismair took Medical Assisting and Health Occupations courses. He plans on becoming a registered nurse (RN). After that is done, he would like to work in St. Mary's Hospital as a nurse. Some of my favorite movies are Aquamarine as well as Freaky Friday, Bringing Down The House, Walk The Line, Date Movie, and also Legally Blonde 1 and 2. He has helped out with AmericaJR.com's coverage of the North American International Auto Show, Detroit's Downtown Hoedown and America's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Caitlin Muciek

Caitlin Muciek is a journalism major at Wayne State University. She is a junior that is really interested in editing. Caitlin works in retail at the Southgate T.J. Maxx store. She enjoys hockey and baseball. Her favorite teams are the Detroit Red Wings and Tigers. Her favorite movies include The Notebook and The Breakfast Club. Caitlin loves to go bowling and to the movies. Her other hobbies are going to concerts and seeing sporting events.

Ashley Woodcock
Movie Reviews
Ashley Woodcock is currently a college freshmen at Temple Jr. College as a pre-med student. Although it will take many years for her to accomplish her dream, Ashley spends a vast majority of her spare time going to the movies. She also enjoys writing about the movies that she has seen. You would almost think of her as a movie critic in your own back yard. You can see some of her best writing in The Chronicle's of Narnia, and Tristan and Isolde.

Steve Anderson

Steve Anderson, much to his own chagrin, is a five-plus year veteran of the direct to video market. He has spent an alarming amount of time in video stores and seeks to provide the public with advance information on all the video releases that they may never have heard of ...whether they want to hear of them or not. He writes Reel Advice From the Video Store Guy, and can even be found popping up on sites like Film Threat, Bloody Disgusting, and Movieweb.

Robert Banker

Robert Banker is currently 23 years old. He enjoys sports, listening to hip hop music and spending time with his friends and family. Banker is attending Schoolcraft College but is looking to start taking broadcasting classes at Specs Howard in the coming months. He will be covering sports for AmericaJR.com.

Patrick Kenny

Patrick Kenny is a journalism major at Wayne State University. The 21-year-old is a junior at the university. He is also a part time baseball coach. On his free time, Patrick enjoys sports, comedy movies, music of all varieties, and spending time with friends and family. He has also played college baseball for Wayne State.

Sarah Berman

Sarah Berman is journalism major and art minor at Wayne State University. She is currently working as an assistant track and field coach at Berkley High School, but hopes to one day become a photojournalist for a Detroit news source. Sarah has been involved in athletics since she began tumbling at the age of two. She enjoys most sports. Her friends describe her as the biggest Detroit Pistons fan they know. Sarah is also a fan of the Detroit Tigers. Some of her favorite memories are of attending Tiger games with her Dad. Sarah enjoys photography, dance, a wide range of music, laughing with friends, and movies. Some of her favorite movies are: Gladiator, Newsies, Blood Diamond, Good Will Hunting and 300. Sarah proudly remembers the day she overcame her shyness and introduced herself to Gary Sheffield.
