That’s where he was introduced to the American Heart Association’s Teaching Gardens program. Hear from co-founder Kelly Meyer, who is working to slow childhood obesity and increase awareness of healthy eating habits. Teaching Gardens is being incorporated into hundreds of schools nationwide where students maintain their own gardens with fruits and vegetables that they can enjoy.
