AmericaJR.com’s Gloria Rzucidlo was LIVE at the grand opening of the new Kroger grocery store at 5 Mile and Haggerty Rd. in Plymouth Twp., MI. Renovations are complete on the store, which used to house a Hiller’s Market grocery store. Cincinnati-based Kroger Co. agreed to purchase all seven metro Detroit Hiller’s Market locations back in May. The Plymouth location closed for business on July 2. The Comerica Bank branch located inside the store remained open during the remodeling process. Now that Kroger has taken over the business, will the prices be lower? That remains to be seen…
