AmericaJR.com’s Jason Rzucidlo was LIVE at Dodger Stadium for an MLB baseball game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the visiting Chicago Cubs. The Cubs got on the board early with two runs in the first inning by Chris Denorfia and Kris Bryant. The Dodgers weren’t able to score any runs on Sunday evening. Jake Arrieta threw a no-hitter for the Cubs in front of a national television audience. A total of 46,679 fans showed up for the game, which lasted just two hours and 42 minutes. The temperature was 85 degrees when the game started at 5:05 p.m. PT. Next up: The Dodgers will face their longtime rivals, the San Francisco Giants, in a three-game series beginning on Monday.
