AmericaJR.com’s Jason Rzucidlo reports from the Honda Center for an NHL hockey game between the Carolina Hurricanes and the Anaheim Ducks. It was my first time seeing a Ducks game at their home arena, The Honda Center. Livonia, Mich.’s Ryan Kesler plays center and is an assistant captain for the Ducks. The question is… were the Ducks sleeping on Friday night? The Hurricanes scored one goal in the first period followed by two goals in the second period. The Ducks didn’t respond until the third period when Jakob Silfverberg got the puck past Hurricanes’ goalie Eddie Lack. Then, Jordan Staahl scored another one for Carolina. The Ducks took their goalie out to get the extra player. However, Jeff Skinner scored again for the Hurricanes giving him the hat trick (three goals in one game). In the end, Carolina blew away Anaheim, 5 to 1.
