WATCH: Interview with Leslie Kendall, Curator at the newly renovated Petersen Automotive Museum in L.A.

AmericaJR.com’s Jason Rzucidlo reports from the Petersen Automotive Museum along L.A.’s Miracle Mile. The museum has re-opened following a $90 million renovation that lasted 13 months. Fortune magazine calls the new Petersen Museum the “ultimate man cave.” A special grand opening ceremony was held on December 3rd just a few days after the 2015 L.A. Auto Show closed for the season. The exterior is striking and is wrapped with 308 undulating, steel ribbons. On the interior, there are 25 new galleries on three, themed levels. In addition, there are 10 racing simulators sponsored by Microsoft and Forza. The museum also houses futuristic vehicles such as the 2017 Ford GT and the Toyota Mirai hydrogen fuel cell vehicle.
