AmericaJR.com’s Jason Rzucidlo recently visited the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles. It is THE place to get beautiful shots of the Hollywood sign, the sunset and even downtown L.A. skyscrapers. The Observatory is a great spot to bring your date or newly married couples for some cool wedding photos. The observatory is a popular tourist attraction with an excellent view of the Hollywood sign, and an extensive array of space and science-related displays. Since the observatory opened in 1935, admission has been free, in accordance with Griffith’s will. However, some planetary shows inside have a small added charge. Parking is completely free. But bring your walking shoes as the lot gets full during sunset.
