AmericaJR.com’s Gloria and Jerome Rzucidlo were LIVE at Westland City Hall for their 50th anniversary Homcoming Celebration. There were dozens of special activities throughout the day. It all begin with the 9 a.m. opening of the time capsule from 50 years ago! Then, it was followed by self-guided tours, historical displays and refreshments from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. A special city council meeting was held at 6 p.m. with an anniversary cake. A mayor’s reception was held from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. The evening was capped off with a beautiful fireworks display.
