AmericaJR.com’s Jason Rzucidlo was LIVE at the Del Mar Fairgrounds for the 2016 San Diego County Fair. Wednesday night’s headliner was pop/rock musician Rachel Platten on the Toyota Concert Series main stage. Her third studio album and major-label debut, Wildfire, reached number five in the U.S. and spawned the top ten singles “Fight Song” and “Stand by You.” “Fight Song” peaked at number six on Billboard Hot 100 and topped the UK Singles Chart. Her new single impacting radio now is “Better Place.” Other performances were local classic rock band Giant Peach on the Plaza stage and Iron Maidens on the Coors Light rock stage.
