AmericaJR’s Jason Rzucidlo recently visited the University of Michigan’s Institute for Humanities to check out their special exhibit called “Detroitography.” This exhibition features maps of Detroit from Detroitography, an organization whose focus is on democratizing map making and refocusing data for people-centered innovation. The maps include ones other people make about the city as well as their our own maps of Detroit.
The U-M Institute for Humanities is located at 202 S. Thayer, Ann Arbor, MI. The exhibit is located within the building’s Common Room and is accessible from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Click here for more information.
