Showtime, A-holes!
They may be a-holes, but Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” outer blasted their way onto the A-list of superheroes in the summer of 2014. Starring Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Dave Bautista (Drax the Destroyer), Bradley Cooper (Rocket Raccoon) and Vin Diesel as Groot, the film became more than a “Cherry Bomb” when it spaced out Chris Evans’ “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” as Marvel’s biggest blockbuster of the year.
Now comes “Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2”, where they continue to do “something good, something bad” as the unlikely team of mightiest heroes who are charged with protecting the entire galaxy – as long as Baby Groot don’t push the button that will set off an atomic bomb. On a lighter note, though, Gamora may not find Star-Lord despicable any more when she discovers his “deepest, darkest secret”. And no, we’re not talking about the possibility of Kurt Russell playing Star-Lord’s father. We’re talking about Star-Lord ‘s “sexual love” for the adopted daughter of Thanos (Josh Brolin), who will soon declare “Infinity War” on both the Guardians and their equal counterparts known as the Avengers, aka ‘Earth’s Mightiest Heroes’.
Co-starring Nathan Fillion, “Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2” is set for warp speed on May 5, 2017.
