AmericaJR’s Jason Rzucidlo was given an exclusive tour of Cobo Center as workers are building the displays for the 2017 North American International Auto Show. In this gallery, look for photos of the workers pounding, sawing and painting. Construction crews are working around the clock to get the automaker and supplier displays ready. Most of the exhibit stands will be in their nomal spots. However, a few have been redesigned for 2017. The NAIAS opens to the media with Automobili-D on Jan. 8 and continues all week long with the charity preview on Jan. 13 before the show opens to the public on Saturday, Jan. 14.
