Gal Gadot brought another wonder into the world. Last Monday, the actress posted on her Instagram page that she and husband Yaron Versano are the proud parents of daughter Maya: making five-year-old Alma a big sister.
“And then we were four… She is here, Maya,” the 31-year-old stated.
Looks like it will be such a wonderful year for Gal, who is about to bring major girl power on the big screen with as this summer’s Wonder Woman (June 2) with Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, the soldier who escorts Princess Diana of Paradise Island into our first World War. It is there she’ll become THE warrior princess: wielding her sword of right and might in the name of that is good, using her lasso of truth in becoming a shield as the world’s finest of female superheroes against the forces of tyranny, cruelty, and oppression.
Following her secret ‘Origins’, Wonder Woman will also become part of the secret origins of this fall’s Justice League (November 17), where she and Batman (Ben Affleck) bring together Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), and the Flash (Ezra Miller) in becoming the world’s finest of superheroes against a great evil that threatens the entire world.
