AmericaJR’s Gloria and Jerome Rzucidlo were LIVE at the 2017 Ann Arbor Summer Festival on Saturday evening. On The Sun creates original music influenced by soul, rock, funk, Americana, and psychedelia. Part Stevie Wonder, part The Band, part Parliament Funkadelic, this Brooklyn, NY, based band includes many members who met at Community High School in Ann Arbor. They’ve recently made stops at SXSW and Red Gorilla Music Festival in Austin, TX, the Mercury Lounge in New York, The Blind Pig, and many points in between. Buzzed Bee will combine some of that nostalgic middle-school spelling bee vibe with a super-fun, laid-back atmosphere, the option of beer, and the guarantee that each round will get more and more ridiculous. And, of course, we’ll offer way better prizes than the “Super Speller!” sticker you’d have gotten in the 5th grade.
