AmericaJR’s Jason Rzucidlo reports from inside the Detroit Historical Museum for City of Champions Day. Established in 1936, Champions Day was declared by the Governor of Michigan to commemorate the sorting accomplishments of Detroit’s amazing athletes and teams during the 1935–36 seasons. This event will highlight not only the amazing efforts of the individual athletes and team sports of the 1935-36 season, but also celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 1968 Detroit Tigers winning the World Series.

Celebrate the opening of the new exhibition The Year of the Tiger: 1968 at the Detroit Historical Museum! April 21, 2018…
