AmericaJR’s Jason Rzucidlo reports from downtown Royal Oak for the 2018 Ford Arts, Beats & Eats media event. Festival organizers announced several new community initiatives on Tuesday afternoon. Students from Oakland Community College will offer live performances, art exhibits and cooking demonstrations. Flagstar Bank is sponsoring a new art contest that will provide scholarships to high school students. Life Time Fitness returns with fitness classes all weekend long during the festival. Meanwhile, Priority Health is offering two yoga classes during Sunday at the festival.
