Introducing the new City of Las Vegas sign (Jason Rzucidlo/AmericaJR)

AmericaJR’s Jason Rzucidlo reports from downtown Las Vegas to check out the brand new sign welcoming visitors to the city. The new sign was officially unveiled on August 7, 2018. It features a pair of 26-foot-tall show girls on both sides and letters that spell out “Las Vegas.” The new sign cost $400,000 to built and install. It replaces an old sign that was damaged by a car accident back in 2016. There are even giant poker chips that you can sit on or stand on during your photo. Also there are a large pair of dice and a roulette wheel painted on the ground. Visit the new City of Las Vegas sign at the intersection of Main Street and Las Vegas Boulevard.
