The headliners for the 26th Annual Downtown Hoedown on Wednesday, Dec. 5 include:

Clay Walker
Certain artists just seem to have an innate sense of what it takes to please an audience. Clay Walker is one of those artists. Walker made a name for himself on the competitive Texas honky-tonk circuit before graduating to success on a national level. He first topped the Billboard country singles chart in 1993 with “What’s It to You” and followed with his second consecutive No. 1 hit, “Live Until I Die.” Since then he’s placed 31 titles on Billboard’s singles chart including chart toppers “Dreaming with my Eyes Open,” “If I Could Make Living,” “This Woman and This Man,” and “Rumor Has It.”

Dustin Lynch
Dustin Lynch got his start at the Bluebird Café, the world’s preeminent listening room for singers and songwriters, which has been instrumental in the development of Garth Brooks, Faith Hill and Kathy Mattea among others. Lynch visited the Bluebird several times a week to listen and learn about the mysterious art of creating songs from some of Nashville’s most important writers, and it was at their proverbial feet that he picked up key insights about the writing process. It wasn’t long before Lynch himself landed a performance spot at the famed venue and in 2011 he signed to Broken Bow Records. His self-titled debut album entered the US Billboard Top Country Albums and US Billboard Top Independent Albums charts at number 1. He has garnered two nominations from the American Country Awards for his January 2012 debut single “Cowboys and Angels.” Lynch has also been featured on USA Today as an “On the Verge” artist and on CMT’s “Notable New Music” list. Dedication and passion has made Lynch one of the most promising new artists of country music.

Jana Kramer
Singer, Songwriter and Actress Jana Kramer is best known for her role as the firecracker actress Alex Dupre, in the CW hit series “One Tree Hill.” Although a new comer in the world of country music, Jana is no stranger to the bright lights with her impressive string of movie and television roles, including recurring roles on hit shows such as “Friday Night Lights,” “Entourage” and “Beverly Hills 90210,” but she credits her recent break into the music industry as her most important accomplishment to date. Jana’s first single “Why Ya Wanna” from her self-titled debut album skyrocketed to number 3 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart early in 2012. The singer-songwriter is lighting up country music with her emotionally moving songs and sweet, country vocals, selling over 150,000 digital singles in the first six months. All eyes are on Jana as she boldly graces country music with a fresh, new sound and powerful new music.
