LAS VEGAS — Las Vegas Events, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), and Fireworks by Grucci unveiled details today, December 20, 2018, of “America’s Party 2019,” the fireworks and entertainment extravaganza to ring in the New Year in classic Las Vegas style.

America’s Party will encompass both the live entertainment at the Fremont Street Experience and the much-anticipated fireworks show on the Las Vegas Strip. America’s Party will be co-produced by Fireworks by Grucci.

“Our challenge is each and every year is to make the better, bigger, more spectacular than the year before,” said Phil Grucci, CEO of Fireworks by Grucci. “This year the theme is Vegas Nights. We’re celebrating the energy, the color, the excitement, the loudness and everything that represents Las Vegas in the evening here. Also as a tribute to welcoming the Knights hockey team. In the soundtrack, we have rousing music that celebrates the evening as well as the Vegas Knights logo song.”

The pyrotechnic display will be launched from seven rooftop locations. Those locations include (from the south, heading north): MGM Grand; Aria; Planet Hollywood; Caesars Palace; Treasure Island (TI); The Venetian; and the Stratosphere.

Speaking at the event were Lawrence Weekly – Chairman, LVCVA and Clark County Commissioner; Bob Coffin – Councilman, City of Las Vegas; Pat Christenson – President, Las Vegas Events; and Phil Grucci – CEO/Creative Director, Fireworks by Grucci.

“When great minds come together, this is what you get everybody–America’s Party,” said Lawrence Weekly, chairman of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. “We are excited to have Grucci Fireworks with us again to celebrate this amazing party. No other city in the world does it like Las Vegas. We’re excited to usher in this big, big celebration. Some folks stand outside in the frigid cold just to watch a ball drop. Where else in the world do you have a great concert all up and down an iconic boulevard like Las Vegas Boulevard.”
