Discover How Country Feels with Randy Houser
Saturday, February 16th at 7:30 p.m.
Come down to the Fair to hear the hometown sounds of critically and commercially acclaimed country artist Randy Houserwho will perform at the Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival on Saturday, February 16th at 7:30 PM in the Fantasy Springs Concert Pavilion.
In 2013, Houser released the critically and commercially acclaimed How Country Feels, spawning four top five singles, including “How Country Feels” and “Runnin’ Outta Moonlight,” both peaking at number one. His fourth single, “Like a Cowboy” earned him a Country Music Association Song of the Year nomination. With his upcoming album Magnolia, Houser moves in a bold new direction by stripping down to a more organic sound. Inspired by the roots-oriented Americana he grew up hearing and playing in his Mississipi hometown, Houser bares his soul on tracks such as “No Stone Unturned” and “What Whiskey Does,” a collaboration with Hillary Lindsey. A Night With Ramon Ayala

Norteño music legend Ramon Ayalawill perform at the Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival on Sunday, February 17th at 7:00 pm in the Fantasy Springs Concert Pavilion. Through his mastery of the accordion, vocals, and songwriting for over 40 years, his musical styling is sure to get audiences on their feet!
Ramon Ayala grew up around music and started playing the accordion at six years of age. Inspired and supported by his parents, Ramon Ayala gained success performing locally in his state of Tamaulipas. He joined Cornelio Reya in a band known as Los Relampagos del Norte, where he found success with singles such as “Ya No Llores” and “Mi Tesoro.” Ayala created his own band in 1971 and he made a name of his own with hits such as “Un Rinconcito en el Cielo,” “Chaparra de Mi Amor,” and “Tragos Amargos.” He was dubbed “The Accordion King” and his popularity has grown across borders and generations, revolutionizing Norteño music and re-defining the genre while earning several Grammy’s. This legendary and iconic star will surely put on a show that you won’t want to miss.
Twist and Shout with Salt-n-Pepa

- Opening Friday, February 15 – Fantasy $5 Friday – As the presenting sponsor of the Fair, Fantasy Springs Resort Casino is giving back to the community by creating an entire day for all Fairgoers to get into the Fair for only $5.00!
- Veterans plus three guests are admitted FREE every day of the Fair (ID required)
- Veteran’s Appreciation Day – Monday, February 18 – join us for the Presidents’ Day Parade and a special presentation on the Pageant Stage at 5:30 pm dedicated to our veterans.
- Kids’ Day – Tuesday through Thursday (2/19-2/21) – with each paid adult admission, one child (ages 6-12) can get into the fair at no charge from 3:00 pm to close.
- Riverside County Department of Waste Resources – Wednesday, February 20 – Bring in small used e-waste (electronic devices) for recycling. Get into the Fair for FREE! Acceptable items are listed on DateFest.org.
