AmericaJR’s Jason Rzucidlo was LIVE along the world famous Las Vegas Strip on Sunday afternoon. It was very quiet on a day when thousands of tourists and locals would be gambling, catching a show and enjoying a meal. Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak ordered the casinos and non-essential businesses to cease operation for 30 days. The decision was made to keep Nevadans safe and healthy during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The closure is expected to cost the hospitality industry an estimated $38.9 billion, according to the Nevada Resort Association. Many casinos had barricades in front with closed signs and doors locked with chains and padlocks. The only businesses open along The Strip are drug stores.
