AmericaJR’s Jason Rzucidlo visited Lake Mead National Recreation Area last weekend as Nevadans and others got some fresh air during the Coronavirus pandemic. It is located on the border of Nevada and Arizona near the Hoover Dam. All national parks are temporarily waiving their fees to allow residents to enjoy the parks. We spotted people hiking, fishing, enjoying the beach and watching the boats pass by. Visitors were also seen feeding the ducks and fish from the dock.
Lake Mead is located on the border of Clark County, Nevada and Mohave County in Arizona. It is about 24 miles from the Las Vegas Strip. For more information, visit https://www.nps.gov/lake/index.htm
