Trump supporters held a rally/protest in Washington D.C. today on the day that the U.S. Congress would certify the results of the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election. They flew in from all over the country and descended on the Capitol Mall. Two states were certified during the official hearing and then Republican lawmakers objected the certification of Arizona’s election results. Then, we heard from Senators Mitch McConnell and Chuck Schumer. Dozens of protesters breached the U.S. Capitol and made their way inside the chamber.
