PASADENA, Calif. – Today, the Pasadena Tournament of Roses announces that it will kick off the 133rd Rose Parade presented by Honda with a special performance by LeAnn Rimes. The Opening Spectacular will feature a re-mixed and re-mastered song created especially for the 2022 Rose Parade titled, “Throw My Arms Around the World.”
Rimes, who first appeared in the Rose Parade in 2006, will be accompanied by the Rose Parade Dancers, the Mark Keppel Dance Company, Rose Parade Flag Bearers and four drummers. The powerful performance will end in fireworks and set the stage for the exciting two-hour parade featuring stunning floral floats, and talented marching bands and equestrian units from across the country.
LeAnn Rimes is an international multi-platinum selling acclaimed singer and ASCAP award-winning songwriter who has sold more than 48 million units globally, won two Grammy® Awards; 12 Billboard Music Awards; two World Music Awards; three Academy of Country Music Awards; two Country Music Association Awards and one Dove Award. At 14, Rimes won “Best New Artist” , making her the youngest recipient to take home a Grammy® Award.

Announcing Grand Finale featuring Jimmie Allen
PASADENA, Calif. – The Pasadena Tournament of Roses today announces the highly anticipated Grand Finale of its 133rd Rose Parade presented by Honda on Saturday, January 1, 2022. As the two-hour mark approaches and the final float begins its trip down Colorado Blvd., four members of the Golden Knights – the United States Army Parachute team – will drop out of the sky and onto the street to do a live football toss from the Parade route to the Rose Bowl Stadium. Their descent will be accompanied by Timothy Fletcher, the drummer who has been making waves on Instagram and Tiktok with magical beats.
Following the landing of the Golden Knights, Best New Artist GRAMMY® nominee, CMA New Artist of the Year & ACM New Male Artist of the Year Jimmie Allen will perform his hit song “Good Times Roll.” from his Bettie James Gold Edition album. Allen will be accompanied by his four-piece band, Rose Parade Dancers, the Mark Keppel Dance Company and the Rose Parade Flag Bearers.
